One more Icon - Gone to the Government Mis-Information Complex.

Check out the National Geographic Channel sometime - I did the other night -- Every other show was some kind of Fear Mongering or Right Wing Slant -- Ex. the 911 Program where they called the People who don't believe everything the Gov. says """Truthers"" . Then the next three shows were Scary Shows on how terrible Saddam Hussein was -- they never bothered to mention that he wasn't so terrible until he stopped doing what we told him to do. Next show was something about the coming Flu Pandemic followed by a show about the Ebola Bug.
No wonder the average American is a Moron - Time to turn the TV off.

In Europe the Governments are AFRAID of the people -- In the US - WE THE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES WHO ARE AFRAID OF THE GOVERNMENT.

How much longer do we have ?? The dollar can't stay afloat much longer - and when it tanks - What will the average American Moron do ?? They have been brainwashed and Scared out of the witless minds .

Saddam was a good friend  in the region untill he decided not to stay bought like a good slave. Look at it this way, he delayed the Iranian nuclear program by at least 15 years and kept the military under control. They were both cleaning out the grade schools to find warm bodies that could carry a gun for about 10 years.

Not quite sure what right wing vs left wing is these days; a dictator is a dictator regardless of ideaology and the govt is getting way to big.

The flu is the flu it kills people by dehydration. Very few healthy people with decent care die from it but a "pandemic" makes good fodder for the morons. Fear sells adds and the $ is king well untill BHO devalues it.

People please stop watching TV and do somthing with your lives hard work is the key, get of the dole and make somthing of yourselves

I think the MSM has most people bamboozled with the "right wing/left wing", Rep, Dem stuff. I couldn't believe it when I was jokingly accused of being a Nazi by my sister in law. Do people even know what they are talking about any more, or are they just repeating what they hear on John Stewart? How can believing in the US Constition and limited government be perceived as Nazi? :?

I think that while there are a few elitists and power mongers(statists), most people honestly WANT to be on the side that they think is "right" or "just". The problem is, most people also don't take the time to think for themselves or do ANY research. They are too easily misled. Most do not have a sufficient understanding of history, either.

Just my two cents. Feel free to call me a right-wing Nazi peckerwood now Buzz. :P

Watch "The Colony" on the Discovery Channel. That's a scary foreshadow of what we could be headed for some day. I enjoy the show a lot. The people they have there are very industrious. I haven't seen them find a need for silver bullion yet. I hear you can use silver to purify water, I wonder if that's true.

Yup, all you need is a nine volt battery, two copper wires and two silver probes (coins will do nicely). Kind of an expensive way to purify water when we have a heat source though...

A chunk of silver in a stoarge container will keep the microrganisims from growing back in the purified water as well.

A small bottle of Potassium Permangenate is also a great quick water purification agent, and it also has some other interisting uses

Pretty much, I have used silver coins to control growth of micro's in fish tanks.

There is a lot of good research out there here is a good article

The development and functions of silver in water purification and disease control

Richard L. Davies and Samuel F. Etris

Available online 25 March 1998.

Abstract
The use of silver to control putrefaction of liquids and as a mitigate to the incursion and spread of disease can be traced to ancient times. In recent decades, studies have revealed the biochemical reactions of ionic silver that result in the inactivation of bacteria, fungi, protozoa, spirochetes, viruses, etc. not protected by proteinaceous membranes. The unique chemisorption of atomic oxygen on the surface of silver in both gaseous and aqueous media combined with freedom of movement of oxygen throughout the crystal lattice of the silver provides a reservoir of oxygen and thus sets silver apart in its catalytic activity. Studies have revealed that bulk silver in an oxygen-charged aqueous media will catalyze the complete destructive oxidation of microorganisms. However, the broad use of silver as a powerful clinical tool is still in the future because its full range of activity remains to be elucidated.
