I was locked out of my last posting and I think I was out of line. So, I am sorry. It is improper to post sales of other folks here on this page. Again, I'm sorry and I stand properly disciplined.

No problem Jeffrey, you didn't really spam, just past the line.

BD is pretty cool about letting us post information about their competition, but I understand why they stopped that thread.

So do I. We can't have someone walk into WalMart and announce the big sale at KMart in the intercom. I just felt bad after jumping Mike what ever his last name is about spamming and then I did it too

Is there a place online where bullion buyers can post good deals they find? I understand BD's policy and actions towards preventing others to advertise on their site and the last thing I want is to offend the people who have set up NUCLEO for us. That being said it is always nice to know where there is a good deal to be found...

Just look on the web and find what you like. Most places will send you a sales flyer now and then. I have looked a lot for good sites. Some are more than others in premium while others are higher in shipping and handling. I have found BD to be the best in all aspects. They have a very open forum, great prices (Catalog), a customer sales section (Nucleo), fantasic customer service, and they will store your product for free! Can't ask for better than that! BD has equal to or the lowest premiums I have found and will get stuff for you if you work with them. I even keep extra cash deposited here to cover binge buying.

I am still new to the PM arena and the more places I look to purcase, the better I feel about BD... Especially WRT their free storage for you! I have a question about their catalog items (SAE, rounds, etc) are they BU or luck of the draw?

Each item on Nucleo has a page describing the amounts for sale and what price. Look at the bottom of that page and you will see a button labeled "specifications." That button contains the description of what to expect. Some will be uncirculated and others will say bullion grade. Bullion grade means the rounds or bars have been circulated and have normal wear. This does not mean they are beat up, that is not allowed here. Your purchase is safe. BD requires good items before they are sold. On the Catalog, you will find the description by clicking on the item and looking at the page that comes up. It will say Condition: Uncirculated, or Condition: circulated. As with my other discussions about this, your purchase is safe. If you have any other, deeper questions, go to BD's "contact us" button and ask away. They are very helpful and glad to do what they can. Feel free to ask them this question as well. If you find anything new, let us all know.

Just to be clear on condition of bullion, the SAE's, maples, AU Phills (and similar gold / platinum items) are specified at BU. There may be some others but I know about these.

The generic rounds and bars and the cmx stuff may be a little scratched up "normal wear"

However, having said that almost eveything I have ever received from them is BU if not new out of the box. From listening to others on the forum I would guess that the overall quality is top shelf, and if you have a problem they tend to get it fixed.

I have been very happy with the overall product quality from this site :)

The Gold Is Money forums have a section for current deals around, as well as bullion dealer feedback ratings for just about
every online source. I don't believe it is easy to join the forum. They only accept new members during a short period each month.
BD does not seem to mind if you buy elsewhere, as long as you sell it here on Nucleo!

Took me two weeks to become a new member. You have to try to join at least two or three times a day before you hit the join screen. Once you are allowed to join you'll find that the interest on that site are similar to BD. But, they have forums that talk about everything, bullion, coins, religion, politics, survival, weapons, etc.. You can screen the site and read the posts even if you aren't a member though.
