They may be referring to US Eagles in an IRA but....I think this Tax scenario may get the the US Govt in a great deal of trouble...of course the case of a "coin" (that is actually legal tender) being a collectible has been heard in court, the legal representation was, in most cases, questionable at best...I can imagine that if some high profile lawyers got involved, the whole "collectible" thing would be laughed out of court...I just hope the precedence is set before I sell much more of mine :D

Hey Fun, these spammers are like fleas, so very annoying. I hope they only get paid if we sign up or buy from their sites. If they get paid when we click on the links I’ll be really pissed.

Hi Horse, I hadn’t had a chance to thank you and Senthen for your help back in April regarding “short” selling. Thanks! Better late then never as the old saying goes. :P

I'd like you to kindly defend that statement with an analytical study.

Hi Senthen, good point. I too would like to know but I don't think we'll hear from him. Maybe "Ver" jumped off the "Sills"

Just follow his link and he'll tell you all about it.

For the condensed version they want you to buy their silver (at a 10% premium over spot), store it in their vault (for a monthly fee), and pay another premium (5% minimum unless you want 1000oz 'various refiners' bars) to 'fabricate' your silver.

As an added bonus 'Silver Saver' support a pyramid (or ponzi) scheme that provides a kickback to anyone who get's someone to join - so be sure and tell them I sent you.

I think I'll stick with BD. 1% is just so much easier to calculate. :P

Hi Kev, I think Senthen was referring to the market for Ver stated “I think now the market is more stable than the previous year.” I too would like to hear Ver defend that statement, but I don’t think he’ll be back.

PS- I like Fun's wording "Spamorama"

Kev,
Thanks for the quick summary; I had almost thought of clicking the link, then decided it was too close to rewarding him for his unappreciated behavior, so had decided not to.

ej...
No, I don't think he'll be back, which was most of the hidden point; though, figured on the off chance he came back, and produced the requested data, it would be of interest. Consider it a bit of obscure humor.

Yea, when I read your post I laughed. Good point to call him on it which is why I went along with you.

And Kev, thanks for doing the legwork about the site. These spammers are so annoying.

I understood Senthen's point, but always feel compelled to (carefully  ) follow those links and figure out the 'real' cost of their products. They always sound so good at first.

The site had some useful information and I guess if they get more folks buying silver that's a good thing. Eventually they'll look around and find better alternatives like BD. 8)
